Sibling Discount (Care Module Only)

If this discount is configured, when the second (and additional) family member(s) on an account registers for a session under the same Program, the system will prompt a pop-up “Are You a Sibling?”.  If this member is eligible for the Sibling Discount, click “Yes” and continue the registration process. 

Sibling discounts only apply when the primary child is scheduled in the same billing period as the child receiving the Sibling Discount.  The system will adjust the receipt of the Sibling Discount when the primary student changes their schedule or drops a session.  For example: 
  1. Scenario A:  Secondary sibling received a Sibling Discount but the Primary sibling has dropped the session for the billed month.  The back office user has the option to reverse the Sibling Discount on the Secondary sibling(s).  
  2. Scenario B:  Secondary sibling received a Sibling Discount but the Primary sibling has removed their schedule for the billed month.  The back office user has the option to reverse the Sibling Discount on the Secondary sibling(s).
  3. Scenario C:  The Primary sibling was not scheduled at the time of billing. The Secondary sibling was scheduled but did not receive the Sibling Discount.  When a schedule is added for the Primary sibling (for that billed month), the back office user will have the option to apply the Sibling Discount for the Secondary sibling. 
When the back office user performs one of the above scenarios, a  “Sibling Discount reversal/application” option will appear on the Drop or Change Schedule pop-up.  Check the box to reverse/apply the Sibling Discount.  Use the “Click here to view details” link to review how this reversal/application will apply.
